Plasma Grow Shot

PRP Treatment for Hair Growth

The Platelet Rich Plasma used in hair restoration is derived from the patient’s own blood. The patient’s blood is spun in a centrifuge to separate the Plasma from the other parts of the blood. IGF-1 and other growth factors can be added.

The normal waiting time while the blood is “Spinning” is usually about 20 min. During this time we numb the treatment area using a topical numbing cream.

The PRP is transferred into a syringe and injected into the treatment site. PRP be can also be put onto a treatment area after using a microneedle device.

Mechanism of Action

For the medical treatment of hair loss, Huma-Netics uses PRP to stimulate the growth of follicles, thereby reversing the hair miniaturization seen in androgenetic alopecia (common baldness).

The introduction of platelets and white blood cells through platelet rich plasma can amplify the body’s naturally-occurring wound healing mechanism. PRP can actually stimulate the stem cells of the newly formed or transplanted hair follicles. PRP stimulates the production of bioactive growth factors which optimal for hair growth. Huma-Netics also adds IGF- Hair Growth Factors into your PRP for additional hair growth benefit. Other treatment add-ons include Biotin IV therapy, Finasteride therapy and more.
